Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Valve Technician. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multibilliondollar organization this is the position for you!

Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30am4:30pm plus overtime as needed

Responsibilities

As a Valve Technician you will be responsible for the following including but not limited to:

• Responsible for assembly of all automated packages
• Follow all established standard operating procedures for valve automation including maintaining a safe and organized workspace and observing necessary safety precautions during assembly testing storage and transfer of product
• Follow all proper procedures for set up use and maintenance of tools and equipment in the automation center
• Courteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales management and warehouse personnel
• Professional interaction with customers when addressing questions and concerns about automated packages
• Troubleshoot automated packages in house and in the field to perform necessary work and repairs
• Assist with developing automated valve sales training program
• Perform functional automated valve testing record and store data
• Work closely with inspectors to meet customer demands

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 3 to 5 years experience is preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Ability to read and understand customer technical data and schematics
• Ability to multitask and meet order deadlines
• Knowledge of shipping receiving and inventory control
• Be goal oriented selfmotivated and able to meet deadlines build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere
• Possess a positive attitude
• Excellent communication time management and organizational skills
• A selfmotivator and have an ambition to succeed
• Enthusiastic courteous and articulate
• Ability to learn quickly

Pay Range:

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
