You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailFulltime 40 hours/week. Rate of pay is $24.04 to 25.47 based on experience. Minimum 2 years experience cooking and supervising a kitchen; health care experience preferred but not limited to. Must be able to read understand and extend recipes. Good organizational skills and detail oriented. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely. Familiar with basic computer systems. Must possess good (written/verbal) communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Welldeveloped judgement and decisionmaking ability is required. Selfstarting personality with a cheerful disposition. Maintains a professional appearance and manner at all times. Excellent attendance record. Must be willing to pitch in and help coworkers with their job responsibilities and be a team player. Must be able to grasp lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing up to 60 lbs. Stands and walks most of day. Be able to prepare high quality menu items efficiently and in a timely manner. Ability to work with all products and food ingredients involved. Ability to operate clean and maintain all equipment required for job functions. Keeps all equipment and work surfaces clean disinfected sanitized and operational. Ensures compliancy with all federal state and local HACCP and NYS DOH food safety regulations as well as Kendal at Ithaca policies and procedures. Submit resume and application form.
