$200 $250.00 Full day / $100 $125.00 Half day See salary schedule

All new candidates interested in guest/substitute teaching in the San Juan Unified School District must meet the following requirements:
Hold a teaching credential based on a degree and student teaching
OR
Be eligible to apply for an Emergency 30Day Substitute Teaching Permit.

To be eligible to apply for an Emergency 30day permit you must:
o Possess a bachelors degree or higher (please attach unofficial transcripts with conferral date) and meet the basic skills requirement. The most common options for meeting the basic skills requirements are:

New guest teachers will be required to attend an orientation/Paperwork Processing Event

Pass a Criminal Background Check Fingerprint fees are temporarily waived.
Obtain a clear TB test
