AliveCor the creator of the Kardia Mobile ECG app seeks a parttime Device Investigations Analyst to join a startup that is changing the face of mobile health. In this role you will be part of a dynamic Quality team responsible for ensuring that AliveCor products perform as intended and meet/exceed customer expectations. This role will enable you to gain an understanding of AliveCors quality complaints process and hardware investigations as it pertains to medical devices. If you have great attention to detail energy and enthusiasm and interest in learning about Quality Engineering then this is the opportunity for you. This position will be onsite in our Mountain View Office and approx. 20 hours per week.
Key Contributions:
- Perform device investigations on returned products
- Thoroughly document each test step and the final conclusion of each investigation as specified in department procedures and work instructions
- Ensure related files and test logs are properly stored
- Escalate to the hardware group any devices which require further investigation
- Follow up to ensure closure of escalated investigations maintaining spreadsheets which track investigations
- Ensure test equipment is up to date and calibrated
- Track metrics as needed regarding Device Investigations
- Under supervision track returned products
- Regularly monitor various logistics providers for returned products which have been identified as needing investigation
- Request returned products to be sent to the proper locations where device investigations will be performed
- Track the status of returned products from the time that they are sent back by the customer until they are ultimately ewasted
- Support the Quality Team in other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills and experience working with hardware test rigs and software tools.
- Have knowledge of and a proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word Excel Visio) and a good working knowledge of using Excel macros formulas pivot tables etc. is preferred.
- Comfortable working with both PC and Mac computers
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Demonstrate high levels of initiative and curiosity
- Should possess strong analytical statistical and problemsolving skills and have the ability to work independently
This is an hourly position the pay range for this position is $23 $25 per hour. Pay is determined by market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
