Business Development Manager EV Charging Solutions

Our client is a new player in the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) charging station market. With the EV market expanding the demand for accessible and efficient charging solutions is at an alltime high. Our mission is to drive the future of transportation by providing toptier EV charging solutions to distributors wholesalers retailers and directly to consumers through our network of professional installers.

We require a dynamic and experienced EV Business Development Manager. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and driving business growth through strategic partnerships and direct sales channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales specifically in selling to distributors wholesalers and retailers as well as experience in managing a network of installers to support direct sales efforts.

What you will do:

  • Market Expansion: Identify and develop relationships with potential distributors wholesalers and retailers to expand market reach.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Installer Network Management: Maintain and expand a network of professional installers to ensure efficient and highquality installation services for direct sales channels.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored EV charging solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends opportunities and challenges in the EV charging industry.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing product development and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth.

What you will have:

  • Proven experience in business development sales or a similar role preferably in the EV charging industry or related fields.
  • A strong network of contacts in the distribution wholesale and retail sectors.
  • Experience managing a network of installers or contractors.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Selfmotivated with a resultsdriven approach.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
