Saint Josephs University is looking to hire highly qualified adjunct faculty. Adjunct faculty may teach 12 courses per semester.Ability to teach a variety of art history courses. These may be in the applicants area of expertise but adjuncts may also be asked to teach other courses such as Intro. to Global Art History I and II. Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible and responsive in designing course curriculum to meet the needs of SJU students who may not have a background in previously studying art history. Classes typically meet twice a week for 75 minutes.
Knowledge of Canvas or similar learning management systems is preferred.
Ph.D. in Art History is preferred.
