As an Electrical Installation Engineer you will be a viable member of a team focused on creating highly efficient design plans for building stateoftheart passenger trains. Key Activities - Develop the mechanical design and integration of electrical enclosures cabinets and cable ducts
- Creation of the electrical function overviews in ECAD as a basis for schematic drawings
- Create concepts specifications and other related technical documentation
- Follow scheduling budgetary goals and guidelines
- Support Procurement Production Commissioning and Type Testing departments
- Interpret and incorporate local federal and customer requirements into system design
- Take ownership of the design documentation and function of subsystems
- Responsible for performing FAIs for various systems if necessary
- Integration design of electrical systems into our vehicles
- Responsible for various subsystems in Electrical Engineering
- Technical coordination with other disciplines (installation planning mechanical engineering fire protection etc.
Qualifications - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or alternatively relevant education in harness and ecabinet design (Technician role)
- 02 (Level I) 25 (II) 58 (III) 810 (IV) 10 (Sr. years of relevant experience in railway defense automotive aerospace or related industries
- Structured way of working to manage integration of multiple projects conduct testing and prepare all deliverables associated within the system
- Ability to read and implement electrical schematics
- Experience in electrical / mechanical CAD design (e.g. Catia V5 or NX)
- Experience with schematic software (e.g. E3 or Ruplan)
- Experience working with PLM ERP and ECN systems (e.g. SmarTeam)
- Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and strong teamwork skills with interdepartmental colleagues
- Must be fluent in English (both verbal and written). German is a plus!
