SEL has an exciting opportunity to welcome a new employeeowner to our Product Compliance team in Pullman WA. As a Senior Regulatory Engineer you will oversee projects provide technical support to customers and work in a stateoftheart test facility. As a Senior Regulatory Engineer Homologation a typical day might include the following:

• Develop strategic and tactical processes for maintaining records of compliance and associated technical requirements.
• Review and approve product homologation and other compliance documentation.
• Assess product compliance documentation for conformance to country regulations.
• Envision trends to product regulatory requirements and guide SEL to minimize future impacts.
• Evaluate and research compliance requirements for new products and technologies.
• Establish companywide homologation procedures and processes.
• Advise internal and external customers as a recognized subject matter expert in product compliance.
• Direct and guide standards under development by direct or indirect influence.

This job might be for you if you have:

• A B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• 10 years working knowledge in product compliance and homologation practices for industrial medical or commercial product
• Strong working knowledge of common compliance related test equipment test chambers and testing practices.
• Knowledge of the following product homologation requirements: EMC (FCC IC CE EAC RCM); safety standards (NRTL CSA NOM EAC RCM CE); product ecology (RoHS REACH WEEE packaging); wireless (WiFi cellular 900 MHz GNSS
• Self motivation and are a selfstarter.
• Strong writing documentation and public speaking skills.
• The ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Leadership experience (preferred).
