Job Description
- Provide a warm and caring welcome to all patients and visitors putting them at ease
- Escorting them to different areas of the hospice
- Help communication between families and staff answering queries if appropriate
- Pass on complicated queries to staff and give feedback where necessary
- Arrange drinks food and transport home for patients if required
- Help the reception team during busy times
- Help with other related tasks when necessary
What skills or experience do you need
- Good people skills friendly outgoing and confident
- Reliability and commitment to the role
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Empathy and an understanding of the needs of those affected by endoflife care issues
- An excellent opportunity to build on your skills in a charity environment
- An induction training support and supervision in your role
- Agreed reasonable outofpocket expenses
- To provide two references from nonfamily members and other relevant documents related to the role
- To keep to all the charitys policies and guidelines
- To complete an induction and any training related to the role
