Job Description

Position Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Sales Territory: Idaho

Position Overview:

As the RNC ASM you will play a crucial role in expanding Aeroseals presence in the residential construction market by directly engaging with potential and current home builders. This will involve traveling within the assigned territory to meet with builders HERS raters and dealers to promote and demonstrate Aeroseals products negotiate sales contracts and influence the adoption of innovative solutions in new construction projects. A successful candidate will be a driven selfstarter with a hunter mentality confident in engaging in technical conversations and capable of building strong relationships with customers to grow and maintain the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Market Adoption: Drive adoption of Aeroseals AeroBarrier Envelope Sealing and Aeroseal Duct Sealing at residential new construction builders.
  • Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales projections generating ongoing sales opportunities and achieving company and individual KPI goals.
  • New Builder Acquisition: Prospect for new business identify and qualify potential clients and secure new business relationships.
  • Lead Qualification: Follow up on leads from digital campaigns conferences tradeshows and referrals converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with current and potential clients particularly builders and HERS raters to drive sales and product application.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities client interactions and leads in Salesforce ensuring uptodate tracking of all prospective client information.
  • Industry Networking: Join the local Home Builders Association (HBA). Attend industry conferences tradeshows and product demonstrations to build brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with management to plan forecast and align sales strategies with overall company goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Become an expert in Aeroseal products processes and operations to effectively communicate technical benefits and solutions to customers.
  • Market Insights: Keep up to date with the latest trends in the construction industry building science and relevant codes to ensure sales strategies remain aligned with market needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing Sales Management Communication or Liberal Arts is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 57 years of demonstrated success in sales/business development preferably in the construction industry or residential new construction product sales.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience working directly with builders HERS raters or in a similar capacity in the construction market is a plus.
  • SelfMotivated: Proven ability to work independently manage time effectively and take initiative.
  • Sales Skills: Experience in lead generation prospect management and driving sales through cold calling presentations and relationshipbuilding.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with potential customers and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a crossfunctional team including coordination with management and other departments.
  • Learning & Growth: A strong desire for continuous learning staying updated with industry trends and expanding professional knowledge.

Additional Information:

  • Travel: Travel is a significant part of the role requiring up to 50 travel time including overnight stays.

The estimated pay range for this role is $. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the successful candidates experience skills knowledge and job location. Please note that the compensation details listed in the role postings reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses or benefits.
