Summary:
As Manufacturing Manager youll oversee our production operations from end to end ensuring quality efficiency and safety across our manufacturing processes. Youll lead a talented team optimize production workflows and collaborate crossfunctionally to deliver toptier equipment solutions for the seed food and feed industry. This role is perfect for a proactive leader ready to enhance productivity and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will also make a material contribution to the success of our ERP implementation.
The purpose of this role:
Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring production schedules are met within budget and quality standards.
Develop and implement strategies for optimizing manufacturing processes improving productivity and reducing costs.
Lead mentor and develop a team of skilled production staff fostering a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards for health and safety across the production floor.
Collaborate with engineering procurement and quality assurance teams to enhance product design streamline processes and resolve issues efficiently.
Manage inventory equipment maintenance and material logistics to support uninterrupted production.
Monitor key performance indicators and prepare reports for senior management to assess production efficiency and quality.
To be considered for this role you must have: ***
Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing management experience preferably in heavy machinery or industrial equipment sectors.
Experience with industrial processing agricultural or conveyor systems.
Proven track record of improving manufacturing processes and driving efficiencies.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing production teams.
Excellent problemsolving abilities and a proactive handson approach.
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
This role will require attendance for work at our GTE Technology HQ in Ballarat Victoria Australia.
