Job Description
Position Duties(include but are not limited to):
- Teaching students across multiple disciplines encouraging each child to reach his/her potential
- Supervision and safety of children at all times of the day including arrival recess lunchtime and dismissal
- Assisting students with social/emotional learning support and guiding them to make good decisions with emphasis on treating all students with dignity and respect
- Assuming full responsibility for the class in teachers absence
- Maintaining professional relationships with all members of the school community
Education and Experience
Essential requirements include a Bachelors Degree and the ability to support the Schools mission and core values. Applicants must be flexible and have a positive nurturing approach to working with students. Past experience working in schools is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Significant standing walking moving climbing carrying bending kneeling crawling reaching handling pushing and pulling. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential tasks.
