Overview Senior AI Software Engineer (FullStack)
CutDry a rapidly growing food tech startup seeks a highly skilled Senior AI Software Engineer (FullStack) to join our dynamic team.
This is a remote position; however due to the nature and timing of our work candidates must be currently located in Canada or the United States. We are unable to hire applicants residing outside these countries.
You will be at the forefront of bringing AI to the food service industry working across all layers of the stack to build AIpowered solutions endtoend that transform how food distributors and restaurant operators interact with technology.
You will split your time evenly between frontend and backend development:
- 50 FrontEnd Development: Implementing beautiful user interfaces in React to make complex features intuitive and seamless.
- 50 BackEnd Development Integrating AI models managing data and optimizing system performance to support AIdriven workflows.
CutDry is a fastgrowing food tech startup searching for flexible gogetters who welcome the challenge of meeting the needs of a rapidly expanding business. Our platform is designed to streamline and enhance the interactions between wholesale suppliers manufacturers and their commercial clientele including restaurants caterers and hotels. Were constantly developing new products and features bringing the forefront of technology into the foodservice supply chain.
The CutDry team has a background uniquely suited to attack this complicated problem. Consisting of lifelong Silicon Valley entrepreneurs the founding team has built and exited multiple startups and possesses deep domain expertise in the restaurant and food supply chain business having sold previous startups to the worlds largest food distributors.

Your Role
As a Senior AI Software Engineer (FullStack) you will design build and refine AIpowered experiences. Your role will focus equally on developing frontend interfaces and implementing backend AI models and services.
Your Responsibilities:
- 50 UI Development Build interactive React interfaces to make complex features intuitive and seamless.
- 50 Backend and AI Integration Develop backend services that support AI models manage data processing and optimize performance.
- Work with tools/vendors like OpenAI Anthropic Langchain and vector databases to enhance our platform.
Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 3 5 preferred) years of experience in fullstack development preferably in a cloud environment.
- Strong frontend expertise in React making up 50 of your role.
- Proficiency in multiple software languages like Javascript Nodejs and PHP and a willingness to work across services.
- Backend experience with Python and AI frameworks (OpenAI API Langchain)
- Strong experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Experience with database technologies (SQL/MySQL and NoSQL) and RESTful API development.
- Ability to execute both openended and pixelperfect design requirements to spec.
- Familiarity with web and mobile development best practices.
