Job Description
Certified Nursing Assistant:
PostAcute Services Short Stay care Longterm care Respite care Palliative Care Rehabilitation therapyNursing Home.
Provide physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene including bathing dressing getting out of bedusing wheelchair bathroom walking standing etc.
Able to provide care for each resident in accordance with their personal care plan.
Provides adjunct care by administering the necessary procedures towards total patient care.(ie. Nonsterile dressings surgical preps ice packs etc.
Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; conducting specialized testing and recording intake and output information.
Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients answering patients call lights and requests and reporting observations of the patient to the nursing supervisor.
Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care including open wounds bruises or blood in the urineetc.
Assist or escort patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
Assist with daily housekeeping dutiesmaking bed disposal of trash tray removal etc.
Documents actions by completing forms reports logs and records.
Noting observations of patient behavior including complaints or physical symptoms to nurses or nursing managers.
Work Hours & Benefits:7am3pm 3pm11am or 11pm7:00am (Days are contingent upon needs of the business.)Subject to additional hours contingent on needs of the business. Health Dental Vision Benefits available and more.
Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications/Skills:
Basic knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology.
Knowledge of relevant nursing care.
Friendly and professional bedside manner.
Maintains current CPR certification.
Multitasking skills.
Effective oral written and reading communication skills.
Understands legal implications of patient care.
Deadlinedriven with excellent time management ability.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Certification as a CNA in the state of employment and MUST maintain in good standing throughout employment.
Current AHA BLS and/CPR Certification.
Prior experience in healthcare is preferred.
6 months or more Full Time experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
SALARY DETAILS:
$16.00 PER HOUR!!!
Guaranteed 48 hours Guaranteed overtime!
$960 Gives you $23040 in 6 months & $46080 in a year!
