Job Description
Job Summary:
The F&B Attendant at Waynesville Inn & Golf is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests at our prestigious golf course. This parttime hourly position requires an individual who is friendly outgoing and has a passion for hospitality and the restaurant industry. As an F&B Attendant you will be a vital part of our team working to create a positive atmosphere for our guests at all times.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $12 per hour plustips paid biweekly. As an employee of Waynesville Inn & Golf you will also have access to a range of benefits including meal discounts employee discounts at the pro shop and complimentary golf privileges.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards and procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of turn house outdoor dining areas and Betty our beverage cart.
- Pilot Betty(the cart) safely and efficiently recognizing approved cart paths and golf etiquette.
- Handle credit card transactions as well as charges to member accounts and hotel guest room charges.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus. Bonus points for golf knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down F&B equipment in the turn house and on the cart organizing and restocking inventory.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
12 years of experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry preferred.
Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
