Seasonal Fire Hydrant Flushers
Public Works Department Water Division
$15.99 per hour
Job Summary
The Water Distribution team is looking to hire 3 positive highly motivated individuals to help flush fire hydrants this summer. The City of Sioux Falls has 8366 hydrants that need to be flushed once a year.
These individuals will need to be reliable ontime and responsible to work independently. A threeweek training period will be provided a fulltime employee.
This is a seasonal nonbenefits position working 5 8hour shifts or 4 10hour shifts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Good driving record is needed.
- Reliable and responsible to work independently.
