Job Description

Position Summary
La Salle Universitys American Studies department has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses each semester on an as needed basis. Courses generally taught by adjunct faculty may include: AMST 100. This course is offered online in the daytime. For more information about the American Studies department please visit American Studies Department web site.

Required Qualifications
Masters Degree in English History American Studies or a related field with an American concentration Successful teaching in a synchronous remote class environment Skilled in the use of technology to deliver instruction resource content assignments and evaluations etc. Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. with a concentration in American History American Literature or American Studies Previous experience teaching at the collegiate level. Previous experience teaching at the high school level Experience using Zoom in instructional and workplace settings Experience in creating course curriculum modules units etc.
