We are seeking a Fulltime Business Development Manager who will focus on driving sales growth and acquiring new customers for MSNW within the defined territory of Washington State along the I5 corridor from I90 south to Olympia WA. Ideally based in Tacoma WA this role requires a selfstarter who excels in service sales and has the motivation to achieve ambitious goals in a highly competitive industry. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities creating and maintaining a robust customer pipeline and managing the endtoend sales process from initial contact to close. The Business Development Manager will actively participate in networking events conduct site visits and maintain ongoing client relationships through regular communication and engagement.


The role also involves collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth customer transitions and the delivery of highquality services aligned with client expectations.


Shift:

Monday Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM


Pay:

$75000 $80000 salary Commission

Requirements

MustHaves:

  • Service Sales Experience Proven experience in selling services (e.g. B2B direct sales or consultative sales).
  • Motivation and Drive Selfstarter with a strong work ethic a proactive approach to challenges and a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve results.
  • Field Experience with Cold Calls Demonstrated ability to successfully perform cold calls and initiate conversations with potential clients in person and over the phone.
  • Comfort with DoortoDoor Sales and DropIns Confidence and willingness to engage in facetoface sales with potential clients including unplanned visits.
  • Basic Computer Skills Proficiency in using email CRM systems spreadsheets and other basic business tools.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Effective Presentation Skills Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations tailored to client needs both inperson and virtually.
  • GoalOriented Mindset Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and work independently to achieve objectives.
  • Professional Appearance and Demeanor Presentable and professional appropriate for interacting with clients.
  • Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record and Reliable Transportation Ability to travel locally for client visits and sales meetings.
  • Successful completion of a background check

NicetoHaves:

  • College Degree Especially in Business Marketing or a related field though not required.
  • Experience in Landscape and Janitorial Sales Familiarity with these industries and their unique sales cycles.
  • Established Local Network Connections in the specific market that could provide leads or facilitate client relationships.
  • CRM Expertise Experience with specific customer relationship management tools like Salesforce HubSpot or similar platforms.
  • Marketing Knowledge Understanding of basic marketing principles to align sales efforts with promotional strategies.
  • Track Record of LongTerm Client Retention Demonstrated ability to maintain relationships and secure repeat business.
  • Adaptability to a FastPaced Environment Experience working in a highenergy sales environment with shifting priorities.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This role requires frequent travel 75 of the time) within the designated territory to meet clients and prospects. The candidate must be comfortable working in a variety of environments from office settings to outdoor facilities and performing physical tasks such as site walkthroughs. Regular sitting standing and light physical activity such as carrying marketing materials are expected. The work environment is fastpaced with shifting priorities and deadlines. Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential to success in this role.
