Job Responsibilities:
- Manage qualityrelated matters for the project specifically for heavy construction works including tunnels and underground works.
- Take authority on all quality control issues related to the construction project.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Licenses/Certifications: New York Professional Engineer (NYPE) license. Professional certifications in Quality Management such as from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) ISO 9001 Six Sigma or related certifications.
- Experience: At least 20 years of experience in construction quality management with significant experience in largescale complex construction projects like MTA projects.
- Skills:
- Expertise in construction processes materials and methods.
- Knowledge of construction codes standards and regulations.
- Leadership team management problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with quality management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- The role involves working on construction sites in varied weather conditions with possible travel to different project locations.
