Job Description

Overview

Our client is seeking an IT Auditor to join their Internal Audit team in downtown Chicago. This role offers the opportunity to support IT audit projects assess risks and drive process improvements in a missiondriven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform IT audits including IT general controls information security system implementations and governance.
  • Document processes test IT controls and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare clear highquality audit deliverables such as workpapers and reports.
  • Collaborate with external auditors on scope timing and deliverables.
  • Communicate audit findings and updates effectively with stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with process owners and maintain compliance with IIA standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field; certifications (CISA CISSP CPA or CIA) preferred.
  • 23 years of IT audit experience; Big 4 background preferred.
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux and frameworks such as COSO NIST COBIT and ITIL.
  • Strong analytical communication and organizational skills.
  • Selfmotivated with leadership potential and attention to detail.
