TITLE: Elementary Curriculum & Professional Development Grade Level Leader 2 per grade level K5
LOCATION: Urbana School District #116
SUPERVISOR: Director ofCurriculum & Instruction
JOB SUMMARY:Elementary Grade Level Leaders provide instructional leadership and professional development opportunities related to the curriculum assessment and instruction for districtwide grade level teams. They are responsible for collaborating with the Director of Curriculum and Student Learning and other Central Office staff members to coordinate grade level elementary professional development and curriculum initiatives. Starting the 202425 school year Elementary Grade Level Leaders should be prepared to provide support and lead reflection around district curricular initiatives such as Amplify CKLA/Caminos Illustrative Math the Eight Mathematical Practices and Mathematical Teaching Practices Mystery Science SEL Social Studies units literacy initiatives and NWEA MAP assessments.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:This is a stipend position. A stipend in the maximum amount of $1500 will be prorated quarterly upon the successful completion of all duties and responsibilities associated with this position.
EVALUATION: The performanceof this job will be evaluated by the Director of Curriculum & Instruction in consultation with building principal(s) in accordance with provisions of the negotiated agreement using the districts evaluation instrument.

NOTES:In order to more fully support the implementation and use of the aforementioned programs and materials preference will be given to candidates who are able to commit to Professional Development offerings as needed.
