Job Description

Sales Manager (Industrial Safety PPEDistributor Network)

General Position Description:This fulltime salaried and commissioned position has overall responsibilities to build grow and manage distributor relationships for a set of unique safety products to keep people safe in high heat work environments

Reporting Relationships:This position reports directly to the president with crossfunctional collaboration

Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in business Marketing or related field.
    • Proven track record of successful national sales management with a focus on industrial safety PPE through distributor networks.
    • Strong understanding of P&L management and financial analysis
    • Excellent communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
    • Prior experience in the safety and manufacturing industry is preferred.
    • Ability to travel nationally as needed

Responsibilities:

    • Distributor Network Management:
    • Identify recruit and onboard new distributors aligned with the companys growth strategy.
      Nurture and strengthen existing distributor relationships through regular communication support and collaborative initiatives.
    • Sales Strategy and :
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
      Collaborate with distributors to create effective sales plans promotional strategies and pricing models.
    • P&L Management:
    • Assume responsibility for the P&L of the industrial safety PPE sales channel ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
      Analyze financial reports identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Market Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends market dynamics and competitor activities.
      Conduct market analysis and sales forecasting to inform strategic decisionmaking.
    • Training and Development:
    • Provide training and support to distributors on product knowledge sales techniques and effective marketing strategies.
      Work closely with internal teams to ensure distributors are equipped with the necessary resources.
    • Contract Negotiation:
    • Negotiate and finalize distribution agreements ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with company objectives.
    • CrossFunctional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing product development and customer service to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach to market needs.
    • Customer Satisfaction:
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly to maintain strong positive relationships.

Key Performance Indicators:

    • Revenue and profit growth within the industrial safety PPE channel.
    • Distributor network expansion and relationship health.
    • Achievement of sales targets
    • Effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies.
