Job Description
Mercy Flights is Hiring a Supply Chain & Inventory Specialist!
Summary:Mercy Flights is seeking a Supply Chain & Inventory Specialist to support procurement inventory control and supply chain operations. This role is essential in ensuring efficient inventory management maintaining appropriate stock levels navigating supply chain constraints and supporting medical equipment maintenance. The specialist will also assist with purchasing materials managing uniform distribution tracking supplier contracts and supporting financial reconciliation.
Position Information :
- Starting Pay Rate :Market comparable (Depending on Qualifications)
- Schedule: Fulltime Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (Occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
- Location : Medford OR
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with procurement supply chain management inventory control and uniform issuance
- Conduct purchasing sourcing and vendor negotiations to ensure costeffective procurement
- Manage inventory levels conduct cycle counts and track expiration dates
- Oversee receiving shipping and warehouse operations including forklift operation
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using NetSuite and other ERP systems
- Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill supply needs and improve efficiency
- Support accounting by reconciling invoices and maintaining cost control
- Research and order specialized medical supplies for ground and air ambulance operations
- Monitor supply chain constraints and propose solutions for uninterrupted operations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Degree/certification in Supply Chain Logistics Business or related field preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain purchasing inventory management or related field
- Preferred: APICS Certification (CPIM or CSCP)
- Required: Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months) and valid Oregon Drivers License
- Strong problemsolving organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment with attention to detail
