ROLE SUMMARY We are seeking an energetic responsible intern with an interest in Information Technology and Software Development to join our organization for the Summer of 2025. The IT Intern will assist the Technology department who oversees daytoday corporate and venue IT operations to support the growth and goals of The h.wood Group. You will be expected to learn the insandouts of the departments daily procedures and operations while gaining valuable insight to further your interest in your chosen career field. RESPONSIBILTIES: - Supporting the installation and configuration of hardware and software components to ensure usability
- Assisting with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Assist with repairing and replacing damaged hardware and software
- Providing support to users and establishing good relationships with all departments
- Assisting with replacing faulty network hardware components when required
- Coordinating computer network access and use
- Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems
- Answer email correspondence for the department and assisting in scheduling of meetings
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS: - Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college with a focus in Information Technology Software Development Information Systems or related courses to receive credit
- Proficient in Windows Mac IOS and Android operating systems
- Ability to troubleshoot network infrastructure devices
- Knowledge in database programming and software installation.
- Selfdirected and able to work without supervision
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
