Position is open to qualified candidates who are looking to work with young children and families amongst a supportive and positive team. Position is available within the countywide preschool program in Knox County and provides opportunities for professional growth and development. Candidate will assess and support young children with developmental delays or disabilities by creating individualized education plans (IEPs) providing targeted interventions and collaborating with families and school staff to promote the childs optimal development across various domains like physical cognitive social and communication skills; essentially focusing on early intervention to address potential developmental challenges. Candidate will foster a positive learning environment maintaining student records and collaborate with parents to support their childrens overall development. Working effectively with other preschool teachers administrators and specialists to provide comprehensive support for children is necessary. Required skills and qualifications:Early childhood education degree: Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or special education. Early childhood or special education license issued from the State Board of Education.Training provided to earn Early Childhood Intervention Specialist license if needed.
