Job Description
Limula SA is a Life Science startup based in Lausanne Switzerland. Our company was established with the mission to help bring the most personalised cancer treatments to the patients in need at reasonable cost wherever they are. To achieve this goal our multidisciplinary team provides a unique bioreactor technology that enables the production of CAR Tcell therapies at scale through automation.

Intern Application engineer (F/M)

Internship Summary
We offer a handson internship at the interface between engineering and biology. To support Limula in the development of the best possible solution for automated cell therapy manufacturing you will work with our engineering team and bring your passion for innovation and technology. You will participate in the development of the testing of our device functionalities automation protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP) for cell processing and culture.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product testing and production by assisting the Engineering team.
- Participate to the design and validation of innovative methods.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for our product.
- Ensure exhaustive and thorough documentation e.g. SOP and technical documents.
Requirements
- Training in engineering for life science applications (bio)engineering.
- Knowledge of Mechanics Electronics Software development Lab instrumentation.
- Experience with biology and sample handling would be a plus.
- Creative proactive selfmotivated flexible personality ready to assume a wide variety of tasks.
- Problemsolving skills solutionoriented mentality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Working proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Willing and able to work full time onsite at Biople Lausanne Switzerland.
