Job Description
Compensation: 80K 100K
Location: Fairfax VA (Hybrid)
Industry: Real Estate (Commercial & Residential)
Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties of Position:
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure a timely monthly close.
- Responsible for generating the monthly financial statements and ensure accuracy completeness and timeliness.
- Support the Accounting Manager & Controller with the annual audits; financial statement and Lease Accounting (ASC 842
- Support the preparation of the annual property tax filings.
- Participate in various business processes and technology integration initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field.
- Direct property accounting experience preferred. GL accounting experience required.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Maintain high personal integrity and strong work ethic.
- Experience with Yardi MRI or Sage Intacct preferred but not required.
