Job Description
- Teach undergraduate/graduate courses in specific content areas as assigned by department chairpersons.
- Prepares and delivers lectures to students.
- Compiles administers and grades examinations.
- And all other relevant duties as assigned.
- Doctorate and/or Masters degree. Master degree required.
- Teaching experience in an undergraduate/graduate institution.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to make decisions supporting the departments mission and goals.
- Must have excellent communication skills oral and written.
- Must have interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a culturally diverse organization.
- Must have a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- An application letter detailing how the applicant meets the qualifications and responsibilities.
- A onepage statement on teaching philosophy interests.
- A current curriculum vitae or resume that includes information on education experience and ability related to the position.
- Copies of all college/university transcripts verifying degree(s) and/or coursework.
- The names and contact information for 3 three references.
