Advancing the science of orthopedic surgery and its related disciplines through research and education is at the forefront of our practice reinforcing the mindset of all things possible.We currently have an opportunity in Geisingers Northeast region to work as a boardcertified/boardeligible Hand Surgeon. You would have the opportunity to work with a team including 85 physicians 90 advanced practitioners and 575 employees providing comprehensive care for patients with orthopaedic foot and ankle hand and wrist elbow and shoulder hip and knee sports medicine trauma and cancer conditions throughout the Musculoskeletal Institute. Position Details:
Geisingers Northeast Region supports two areas WilkesBarre and Scranton with a total of 3 hospitals a multidisciplinary Healthplex in Pittston (centrally located inbetween the two areas) and numerous MSKI outpatient clinics. The ability to work with local semiprofessional teams including WilkesBarre/Scranton Penguins (a Pittsburgh Penguin minor league hockey farm team) and the Scranton/ the WilkesBarre RailRiders (a New York Yankees MLB farm team).
Conveniently located off Interstate 81 in Pittston Geisinger Healthplex CenterPoint offers a variety of medical services for children and adults including surgery and endoscopy; bone muscle and joint care; urologic services; eye care and eyewear; and physical and occupational therapy as well as laboratory and diagnostics.
