The Department of Materials Science and Engineering invites applicants for a tenuretrack faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level in all areas of materials science and engineering all aspects of semiconductor and electronic materials materials for energy applications and biomaterials for which a Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering or an allied field is required. Desired attributes for the position include the ability to: Establish a strong sustainable externally funded research group Provide highquality effective teaching of materials science and engineering relevant courses Communicate well with students colleagues industry and government personnel The successful candidate will assist the Department in expanding its reach and impact in materials processing/engineering area in the State of Utah nationally and globally through worldclass education and research.
