Job Description
The Indiana University Jacobs School of Music seeks candidates for a tenuretrack or tenured position specializing in video game scoring to join the faculty of a vibrantly active and performancefocused composition department. Expected start date: 08/01/2025. Responsibilities will include: Teaching courses in videogame scoring and related subjects in interactive media . Develop and maintain an active career composing for video games. Maintain involvement with appropriate professional organizations Foster collaboration with other Indiana University units such as The Media School; Kelley School of Business; and Luddy School of Informatics Computing and Engineering. Develop music industry professional connections that benefit the Composition department and its students. Student advising student recruitment and service on departmental and Jacobs School committees is expected.
