GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Kirkwood Community College seeks a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Adjunct Instructor. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge base in their discipline and teaching experience at the college level is desirable. Primary duties will include instructing students in courses and communicating with department staff students and other faculty.
Kirkwood Community College is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach within the medical assisting program. The instructor is responsible for fostering student learning in the areas of medical assisting. The instructor would adapt existing curriculum to meet the needs of the students and ensure student outcomes are met. Must implement and evaluate instruction and report student achievement in assigned courses in accordance with department division and college policies and procedures. Potential teaching assignments could include lecture and laboratory settings.
Successful candidates will be selfmotivated goaloriented be able to communicate complex methods and procedures clearly and precisely to students conduct testouts and maintain correspondence with program faculty.
