Commissioning EIT
The Commissioning Team is seeking a Commissioning EIT with an interest in mining metals energy and/or infrastructure projects in the Western Canada Region. Reporting to the Regional Manager of Commissioning the Commissioning EIT will work from project office and project site will support in commissioning proposals planning as well as onsite of precommissioning commissioning and rampup of projects.

Reports to:
Regional Manager Commissioning
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support commissioning planning and setup activities including test plans and administrative procedures.
- Support in technical testing data collection and troubleshooting during the precommissioning and commissioning phase of the project.
- Lead technology development initiatives in the group including investigating of alternate and supporting commissioning software.
- Lead setup and implementation of the commissioning management system and become a support resource for global projects on the corresponding software(s).
- Manage the test results data collection progress measurement and documentation of results.
- Support development of commissioning estimates budgets forecasts schedules commissioning proposals and presentations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Process Electrical Mechanical Metallurgical or Mining Engineering.
- Knowledge in precommissioning commissioning or operations.
- Willingness for onsite deployment.
- Effective technical writing skills planning and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous coop experience in project commissioning or construction on industrial project is considered an asset.
- Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects.
- Good understanding of design engineering codes technical standards and site requirements.
- Aspirations of becoming a commissioning manager project manager or group lead are considered an asset.
