Job Description
Exostar is currently seeking hard working bright and energetic undergraduate students to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program. We are seeking students enrolled in programs focused on IT.
This opening will be for a Summer Internship in Corporate I.T.
Overview of Internship Program:
The summer program offers a tenweek paid internship opportunity at the Exostar office in Herndon Virginia. The internship program is a combination of mentoring learning activities and project work designed to give broad exposure to the inner workings of our organization. The nature of the assignments will vary allowing opportunity to exercise customization and creativity while providing a practical and challenging business experience to include:
- Opportunities to learn from/chat with Executives and/or Senior Leadership.
- Opportunities to participate in company engagement activities.
Internship Focus Area:
- Corporate Information Technology Systems Administration.
- Learn new technologies and skills that are industry related.
- Learn proper documentation procedures such as SOPs.
- Learn new IT Systems. (i.e. CRM Microsoft Remote access)
- Learn and use presentation skills that will be utilized during your internship.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an accredited University Junior or Senior year
- Preferred candidates will be currently enrolled in a Bachelors program in Finance Information Systems Computer Science Cyber Security or related major and either a Junior or Senior.
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average.
- Computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated work ethic goaloriented and past history of academic success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills critical thinker leader team player and selfmanaged learner.
This is a paid internship over a 10week duration from May to July 2025. Interns need to be available to work up to 40 hours per week and 2 3 days in the Herndon office. Based on a students availability and school schedule internships can begin or end before or after the dates indicated. Applications are accepted for positions until filled.
