Job Description
AsFinOps Analyst youll be responsible for collecting analyzing visualizing and optimizing IT costs and utilization for cloud platform commercial software DevSecOps product and solutions. You will play an important role in integrating IT and business enabling cost transparency showback and chargeback to support nearterm and longterm planning and financial projections.

What youll do:
- Collaborate with IT product teams to identify elements of total cost and measures of utilization.
- Monitor analyze and report on costs and utilization across products cloud providers and classification levels
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track expenditures and utilization.
- Identify costsaving opportunities and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Analyze variances between actual spend and budgeted amounts providing insights and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Identify opportunities for automation in FinOps to improve efficiency.
- Work with engineering teams to automate cost management and reporting.
- Continuously explore new tools and technologies that can enhance FinOps capabilities.
What youll need to succeed:
- An active U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance (or higher).
- 3 years of experience in a FinOps cloud financial management or similar role.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their cost management tools (e.g. AWS Cost Explorer Azure Cost Management)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and metrics.
- Proficiency in financial modeling budgeting and forecasting.
- Expertise in Excel and financial reporting tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Understanding of cloud economics and pricing models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to nonfinancial stakeholders.
