Team mission
Our Group Reporting team is dedicated to delivering highquality financial information to internal and external stakeholders facilitating informed decisionmaking. We are seeking an Internal Control Manager to lead our Internal Control over Financial Reporting initiatives. This role is critical in establishing robust internal controls and ensuring our financial reporting processes are transparent and compliant with international standards.
You will:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal control framework in line with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the creation and of risk assessment methodologies to identify critical areas in financial reporting.
- Design and oversee the implementation of control activities across the company to mitigate identified risks.
- Recruit train and manage a new team including an Internal Control Analyst and an ITGC Specialist to support the of ICFR objectives.
- Coordinate with external auditors and consultants to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and to facilitate annual audits.
- Provide regular training and updates to the management and relevant teams about compliance changes in regulations and best practices in internal controls.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the internal control systems and provide strategic recommendations to the senior management team.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the internal controls system by staying updated with industry trends and regulatory changes.
Who you are:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or similar accreditation preferred.
- Proven experience in leading internal controls and compliance within a multinational corporation preferably with experience in preparing a company for US listing and SOX compliance.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting ITGC and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Strong analytical strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
