Job Summary/ Objective:
Assists the Recreation Supervisor in supervising the Lifeguard staff cashiers and the operation of the swimming area related facilities maintenance of the beach bathhouse comfort stations and picnic shelters.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises the work of the lifeguard staff.

Remote Work:
This position is not eligible for remote work. All County staff must maintain residence within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Salary:
$22.25 for new Beach Managers.
$22.75 for returning Beach Managers.
This is a part time temporary FLSA nonexempt position. Internal candidates will receive pay adjustments in accordance with Local Government Personnel Policy P60.
SignOn Incentive:
You will receive a $250.00 signon incentive if you are onboarded and work at least one 1 day by June 9th. This will be paid on the following paycheck after June 9th.
You will receive another $250.00 if you work an average of 30 hours a week for 5 out 9 open swim season weeks. This will be paid on the following paycheck after Labor Day.
Length of Employment: May 3 Labor Day
