Job Description
Well respected Engineering Firm is hiring a Mechanical Engineer at its OrlandoMaitland FL location. Position is responsible for project management internal & external disciplinary coordination as well as project design responsibilities relating to commercial and healthcare building HVAC design and construction including HVAC cooling/heating load calculations sizing of ductwork/piping HVAC unit sizing and equipment selection including DX and chilled water equipment pumps and cooling towers.
Requires BSME plus 45 years experience relevant to commercial and/or educational building design projects. All candidates will be expected to perform well in a team environment and provide effective written and verbal communication to department staff and other team members and possess a good working knowledge of building modeling computer software IESVE Revit and AutoCAD. Prior project management is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
- Over 2 years experience needed
- HVAC Design and construction experience
- Revit Experience
- MEP Design Experience
- Hands on Design Capable
- PE Not required
Position Pays based on experience
Relocation assistance will be considered.
Candidate must be able to pass criminal background checks not limited to the Jessica Lunsford Act to be able to visit school sites and FBI for government buildings
