The Macon plant was built in 1967. It manufactures egg cartons lunch trays and shake trays and employers over 200 employees.

Responsibilities
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance department groups in performing work safely to achieve the plant objectives in safety quality OEE PEPS and budget.
The primary job duties and responsibilities are:
- Monitors and supports safe work practices in the department.
- Ensures the team is completing the planned work task as scheduled on all equipment.
- Participates in problem solving activities as required to achieve plant performance.
- Leads the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as outlined for downtime events.
- Tracks and manages follow up work orders to achieve a timely resolution to repairs.
- Manages the time keeping records for all areas of responsibility.
- Participates in Tier 01 and 2 meetings.
- Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
- Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
- Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
- Maintains excellent safety record.
- Maintains excellent attendance record.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical certification/Associates/BA in a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
- At least five 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
- At least three 3 years of leadership experience in the maintenance field.
- Demonstrated selfcompliance with company policies and procedures.
- Experience with 6S A3 and other continuous improvement tools.
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection and SAP experience preferred.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Strategic planning.
- Able to prioritize work.
- Demonstrate initiative in addressing and/or resolving repair issues.
- Troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Must be able to stand and/kneel frequently lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be available on an oncall basis.
