Job Description
Technical Director (Entertainment & Production Industry)
We are seeking an Technical Director (Entertainment & Production Industry) to become an integral part of our team!You will coordinate andoverseethe organizationsdaily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the production team including department leads (Sound Quality & Lighting etc. and onsite technicians.
- Plan and manage logistics including truck routes labor allocation and gear preparation.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure all technical requirements are met.
- Handle subrental POs equipment orders and oversee inventory management in coordination with warehouse staff.
- Serve as the point of contact for project managers ensuring smooth coordination between entertainment and production departments.
- Ensure all production setups meet professional standards troubleshooting technical issues onsite as necessary.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed onsite and all equipment is handled according to best practices.
- Manage logistics for loading/unloading equipment for events ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
- Oversee the setup and of event production including
- lighting audio staging and power needs.
Qualifications:
- Supervise and assign duties to workers
- Engaged in technical control and production of events
- Monitor to ensure that production and everything is up to code
- 5 plus years experience in entertainment production & technical aspects.
