Job Description
Introduction
Our national client requires a suitably qualified and experienced Logistics Planner to join their Head Office team in Pinetown. Must have direct OPSI experience as well as a relevant Logistics qualification and at least 35 years experience managing logistics plans and inhouse fleet management across three major centers (Durban Johannesburg and Cape Town).
Duties include preparing weekly logistics plans liaising with Production Sales and Recollect departments monitoring daily logistics to ensure that KPI targets are met monitoring and tracking the fleet to ensure that maximum efficiency is being achieved updating the database working on OPSI updating Plato and Zeno. Updating and revising schedules.
This is a fastpaced and highly pressurized environment and requires the ability to be agile and redirect as the business requires.
