Hourly Rate: $4045 / Per Hour (Must be Incorporated)

Our P&C Insurance client in Toronto is searching a highly motivated Intermediate QA Analystmanual/functional tester to join their for a 1 year contract to start with possibility of extension. This role would primarily support the team as well as possibility of helping other lines of business as they have capacity.Experience with working in Personal Lines is requiredthorough knowledge of automobile insurance is needed.
- Primary Duties:
Develop comprehensive test strategy documents and detailed test plans/matrices.
Gain a deep understanding of functional requirements and the solution to conduct efficient and effective testing.
Conduct risk assessments collaboratively with the team.
Offer defect analysis daily reporting and management reporting.
Contribute to the definition of quality procedures standards and specifications.
Maintain focus on deadlines and deliverables.
Collaborate closely with the project team and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of university degree or equivalent experience
Experiences in Quality Management Software and Processes
Minimum of 5 years of Quality Assurance experience
Insurance Industry experience (Personal lines required Auto insurance needed)
Test Automation
Clear demonstration of the following core competencies:
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Processoriented approach / creating and maintaining artifacts
- Excellent time management skills/ability to establish priorities
- Must be a team player
- Selfstarter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to be flexible in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities
