Prestonwood Country a premiere golf club in Cary NC has a few positions open for Swim Instructor. The Swim Lesson Instructor will lead private semiprivate and group swim lessons to all ages and skill levels using American Red Cross Guidelines. The Swim Lesson Instructor will be responsible for creating a fun learning environment to ensure a positive member experience. All lessons will be assigned by the Aquatics Manager. This is a Seasonal position from May 17 August 31 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be prepared to connect with students using fun and creative methods.
- Ensure an educational safe and inviting experience for all participants.
- After lesson communicate with students/parents regarding skill development.
- Be knowledgeable about Prestonwood Aquatics programs and products.
- Enforce pool/club policies.
- CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire
- Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid preferred
- Swim Lesson instruction or coaching experience preferred
The Swim Lesson Instructor should have a current Water Safety Instructor Certificate and/or at least 2 seasons of swim team or teaching experience. He/she should communicate demonstrate and supervise safety requirements during the teaching of lessons.
We offer competitive pay of $18 per hour plus 25 commission.
