The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Care to oversee the provision of highquality care services in our senior living community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing dementia care and medication administration with a passion for enhancing the wellbeing of our residents.
What youll do
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure the delivery of compassionate and effective care
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs
Oversee medication administration processes and ensure compliance with regulations
Coordinate with healthcare providers families and staff to optimize resident care
Lead budgeting and resource allocation for care services
Provide leadership and guidance in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for residents
What youll need
Qualifications
Proven experience in a nursing leadership role preferably in a nursing home or assisted living setting
Strong knowledge of dementia care practices and protocols
Ability to effectively supervise and mentor staff members
Proficient in budgeting and resource management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Passion for senior care and enhancing the quality of life for residents
