Company:
Boeing Aerospace OperationsThis frontline leader position manages a team of Industrial Manufacturing and Liaison Engineers within our Component Operations Program in Jacksonville Florida. This role will primarily focus on F18 Flight Control Surfaces though has the opportunity to support other platforms. This role is pivotal in managing engineering and technical activities related to Production Engineering.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads planning and integration activities for profit and loss standalone support program(s) or major support business/program element where business needs dictate.
- Applies technical knowledge of product support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities.
- Manages employees performing activities related to Program Management.
- Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
- Manages develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher in engineering engineering technology computer science mathematics physics or chemistry
- 5 years of experience in a professional engineering role
- 1 years of experience supporting manufacturing/production operations
- 1 years leadership experience (team lead project management management)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience leading or managing multidisciplined technical teams
- 3 years of experience in MRO Environment
- 3 years of experience in a production engineering role
- 3 years of experience working NCR tags with MRB delegation
