SALARY RANGE
$52500 $59000 depending upon years of teaching experience and education

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
This is a 9month fulltime position.
Instructors may be assigned classes at any of the four River Parishes Community College campuses (Gonzales Reserve Plaquemine and St. Charles) as determined by student need and institutional demand. Teaching needs may include facetoface/online and/or evening classes. Fulltime faculty are expected to actively serve on campus committees participate in campus activities and participate in student advising and recruitment.
No Civil Service test score or assessment is required to be considered for this vacancy.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree (official transcripts must be submitted) or ten years field experience in instrumentation.
- Current knowledge of various instrumentation systems and practices.
- Current knowledge of industrial safety practices.
- Satisfactory background check an offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory preemployment background check.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developdeliver revise and teach Instrumentation & Electrical Technology courses.
- Meet College deadlines for attendance taking gradesubmission learning outcomes assessment reporting and textbook adoptions.
- Serve on campus committees.

- Assist with student recruitment efforts.
- Maintain a safe and orderly lab environment.
- Maintain lab equipment and inventory.
- Collaborate with business & industry partners to improve the Instrumentation & Electrical Technology program.
- Consult with other College faculty and staff on issues relevant to student success.
