Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring a Principal Systems Engineer to facilitate the government customers management of a large High Performance Computing (HPC) related program. This program is on the cutting edge and includes everything from HPC test planning and architecture design and prototyping and vendor outreach and collaboration support. Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies high performance computing and enterprise architecture. The program is tactically important to the national security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results and the Program Integrator will be directly involved in ensuring the government is successful in achieving their planned objectives of this growing highprofile program.
The Systems Engineer will provide technical direction for the development engineering interfacing integration and testing of all components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation analysis and functional allocation conducting systems requirements reviews developing concepts of operation and interface standards developing system architectures and performing technical/nontechnical assessment and management as well as endtoend flow analysis.
Qualifications
- Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty four 24 years of general systems engineering experience OR
- Bachelors degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty 20 years of systems engineering experience OR
- A Masters degree OR PhD in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen 18 years of systems engineering experience.
