Job Description
Hire Resolves client is seeking a motivated and detailoriented individual to join their team as a Junior Quantity Surveyor in Bloemfontein Free State. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in the construction industry and gain valuable experience in quantity surveying.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior quantity surveyors in estimating and costing building projects
- Prepare bills of quantities and tender documents
- Analyse project variations and prepare variation orders
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises
- Liaise with clients contractors and suppliers to gather relevant information
- Assist in monitoring project budgets and costs
- Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to project managers
- Keep uptodate with industry trends and regulations
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
