Job Description
The duties below are representative of the duties of the classification and are not intended to cover all of the duties performed by the incumbent(s) of any particular position. Teach in a variety of health career related courses including basic health science. 2. Consult with students during regularly scheduled office and lab hours. 3. Perform other duties as required by contract collective bargaining agreement and general institutional needs. i. The college offers day evening and weekend classes and teaches some classes on local high school campuses. The person selected for the position may be expected to teach evening classes or classes on local high school campuses as part of regular workload.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a Masters or above in health science health education biology physical education kinesiology exercise science dietetics nutrition or public health OR Bachelors in any of the above AND Masters or above in any biological science OR the equivalent (see below) Demonstrated cultural competence sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability gender identity sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students faculty and staff
