Responsibilities
Companionship:Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to seniors.
Assistance with Daily Activities:Help with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and mobility assistance.
Medication Management:Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure they adhere to prescribed medication schedules.
Meal Preparation:Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences.
Light Housekeeping:Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for the senior.
Transportation:Assist with transportation to medical appointments grocery shopping and other essential outings.
Monitoring Health:Observe and report any changes in the seniors health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.
Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any significant changes in the clients condition.
Qualifications
- Caring and Compassionateyou enjoy helping others
- MUSThave avalid CNA license or PCA/HHA certification
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license(no photocopies accepted)
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING IN HOMES OF THOSE WITH PETS
- Pass a background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in caregiving preferably with seniors.
- Training and professional development opportunities.
